The cutest little guy joined me in the studio to celebrate his birthday. Fun session with Mum and Dad and then we let him loose with the cake. Funny though because he was far more interested in munching out on a big banana. Healthy boy.

I swear some kids have read the photographic brief and follow the script as required! It was like little Chase knew what we were out to achieve and turned on his super cuteness to play up to it. Two big sisters played along too. Ever helpful biggest sister Layla and littler big sister Madison was making sure she was not forgotten even though it’s her little bro’s bday.

As always, it was such a joy catching up with this family. You see I’ve photographed them when each of their children were born, when each turned one as well as their wedding. It truly feels like catching up with good friends. Such genuinely awesome people. I think these images speak of the energy and love in this family

I first met this family 2 years ago when this little guy’s big sister was turning one and now they are back. Johnny’s turn and boy did he enjoy discovering his cake. It was like he read the script beforehand and knew exactly what to do. Fantastic to watch.
