Why family photos on the wall actually matter (especially for kids):

1. They remind kids “I belong here” - even on the hard days.

2. They make love visible, not just something we say.

3. They help kids remember happy moments (and that they’re part of a bigger story).

4. They boost confidence - seeing themselves celebrated is powerful.
5. And honestly… they just make a house feel like home (not a display home).

Because these walls aren’t just for decor - they’re for memories 🤍

If you have USBs and hard drives full of gorgeous photos and want ideas or help getting them out and on display to be enjoyed, then yell out!

Extended family sessions - so many different yet equally precious relationships to record. Grandparent/grandchildren. Parents with their adult children. The grandkids together. Family units. So worth getting the stars to align and everyone is in the same place at the same time. These photos will be even more precious in 10 years time when life looks so different to this version of now

Reflecting on 2025

Working with people really is 'my thang'

I love winging it....keeps me open to all possibilities

All the planning in the world, my year never ends up looking like I thought, but somehow even better so just roll with it!

I've really embraced the 'give less shits about stuff I can't do anything about' philosophy

That every client I've shot with this year, are 'my kinda people' and folks I'd happily have a coffee and catch up with outside of work relationships. This is not a new thing at all. This has been a constant through all years of my business but it’s something I love!

I love that my mind is always in the gutter. So much more fun that way. Borderline inappropriate during shoots really does get genuine laughs and people let their guard down

I LOVE encouraging connection, touch, kissing, hugging, silliness, falling all over each other, holding someone like they are precious to you.

So in 2026 there will be more of all of these things. Here’s to new experiences, amazing connections with people and a continuing evolution in life and business

PS - my 15 year old son took this photo of me and for that reason alone, I love it. When I see it, I actually just see him smiling at me, encouraging me, us laughing together.
