Timing is everything. When the Grandparents are visiting from the UK you have a limited window of opportunity but this family were sure to plan and prepare for family photos during their visit. We planned back up dates for disastrous weather. On the day of the session it was raining in the morning, but the forcast looked just as bad for our back up date. The family decided to forge ahead. The sun came out. The sun disappeared. As I drove to meet them it started to drizzle, then it started to rain, then the heavens opened and we had a little flash flooding! Scrap the original plans. I met this amazing family at their home and it turned out to be the biggest blessing. The kids had a ball inside while it rained, the sun popped out so we even headed outside too. It all worked out in the end and I love the real, true and raw energy in these images.
