It was so good to see this family again. Why is it still a surprise that kids grow!!! I do understand the memo….they get older. I do love seeing this process in families!
Winter sun came out to play for our session together and we loved it!
It’s a common question from new families, to wonder how it works, what happens, how will we know what to do, what if my child does (any number of things), will it be like a previous not-very-fun photographic experience we have had etc etc??? This family wondered some of these things, but trusted in the process, trusted in me telling them anything that unfolded was just exactly what was meant to, that it would all work out in the end. This session with little 1 and a half year old Felix went just beautifully. He explored and played as he does at this age and he was loved on in a big way from Mum and Dad, as he is by them. That was all that was needed and I just loved capturing this for them.
It was so good to see this family again. Last time Stella was 1 and now she is 3. I love this series because I love photos that tell a story and that I can hear. So many cute moments of Stella being absolutely who she naturally is at this age and stage.
Oh to have Clara and Mum back in the studio. After recording the pregnancy and birth, I was absolutely bursting for Clara’s newborn session. Cuddles and snuggles. Such a chill little bubba. Adorable moments with Mum and also an opportunity to share a little slideshow from the birth. So precious to share in the reliving with Mum in all it’s beautiful intricacy.
I can’t tell you how much I adore this family. I’ve been welcomed into their fold way back when they were expecting their first long awaited bubba and we have formed a solid friendship with a bonus that I get to record so many of their special moments. Welcome to the world little Matteo. You are well loved and in good hands darling boy.
