It was so good to see this family again. Why is it still a surprise that kids grow!!! I do understand the memo….they get older. I do love seeing this process in families!
Winter sun came out to play for our session together and we loved it!
It was such a pleasure to meet this family on a little getaway from their home town in Brisbane. We were in luck with the weather gods. Beautiful stormy skies, a combination of or all the lighting and the rain held off….til the very last moment. A few drops as we left the jetty and then heavy downpour as we headed home. Little Ivy was an absolute champion.
This extended family session was a gift for Nanna’s 70th….and she is now 72. 2 years it took to finally make it happen, for all the schedules for 3 family units to align and for us to not be cancelled out again due to weather or covid!
Finally, the day was rainy, but it cleared in spectacular fashion to be the most gorgeous light and a perfect night.
So lovely to see this family again! It’s been a few years so no surprises the kids have grown up so much. Such a pleasure to record these sweet moments with this family.
It feels like this winter has been wet and cold for a year and a half. So craving the spring sun and the other night did not disappoint. Perfectly timed for this family’s session. Bliss on every level.
