At this time of year the weather is such a mixed bag but on this day we were blessed with a mild and delicious evening of gorgeous light. So much fun chasing around these 2 being everything that it is to be 3 and 2.

When I meet couples for pregnancy sessions first it really does complete the circle when they come back with their new baby. Sweet little Kaitlyn, you are the baby we were waiting to meet!
This time of year, you never really know what the weather gods have in store for you. This pregnancy session at the beach had me a little worried. It’s never ideal when it comes in dark early and cars have headlights on while Im driving to a session. Add in a late start with a sleepy head little one – but as is always the way it all worked out just as it was meant to be. Gorgeous light, beautiful family, amazing moments. Look at the light! LOVE IT!!!
So lovely to see this family again after meeting them at the Lollipop Markets recently. Little Lucy is possibly to most chilled out 2 year old. Up late, just woken from a nap and happy to explore with mum and dad as the sun sets. Beautiful and connected little family unit. Precious
Beyond those initial years of many major milestones, many people ask “when is the best time for family photos?”. My answer is simple. NOW. If you are wondering it has often been too long since recording your family together and how big the kids are now.
I loved recording the family of 4 (doggo included). As a separated parent myself, I feel it is so important to capture the new family unit when that happens. It is not a break down in the family unit, it is a evolution of the family unit. It’s just changed over time. Love the connection with these kids and their Mum and adored dog!
