This session was years in the planning and we finally made it happen! I’ve photographed Mum and kiddos many times before, but something new was captured on this night. A newly formed family unit….and it was spectacular. Chaos, laughs, silliness and a whole stack of genuine love floating about! 
A beautiful day full of celebrations, first Rocco’s christening followed by his 2nd birthday party. This wonderful family were the kindest, most welcoming, fun loving family. So many cute moments as they unfolded
At this time of year the weather is such a mixed bag but on this day we were blessed with a mild and delicious evening of gorgeous light. So much fun chasing around these 2 being everything that it is to be 3 and 2.
The joy of capturing events like this is that it not only records this event in this family’s life, but it also records the ‘now’. By ‘now’ I mean all the little things that, in not too much time, will all be different and possibly forgotten. Things like the way Lucas’ curls fall around his ears, the special bond he has with his Grandfather, all the people who surround this little boy with love.
