Oh do I love newborn sessions!!! The bubba cuddles are an obvious perk, but honestly I just love the whole process, meeting new parents, learning of their birth experience and getting to know them and their new bundle of gorgeousness. Meet little Cameron, the sweetest!
So lovely to have this family back in the studio. I have been dying to meet this little bubba since I first met this family for their pregnancy session. Gosh this couple make cute kids together!!! So many cute moments during their session – their gallery is HUGE!
I have had a very special family featured on my website for a few years now, when they came to visit me with their first born Callum. The video can be seen here. And now little Callum is nearly 2 and he is now a big brother to a darling little sister Ella Sage. So very special to be seeing this family again.
I’ve been reading on various photographer forums about new photographers struggling with newborns. They literally have a massive check list of things they have learnt, observed or been told to do or have with them but are still having no luck.
The truth is, a baby can read you without saying a word. They can see right through any pretence or any fancy pants set up. A baby will seek comfort and calm from those around them. They will feel a photographers confidence and experience. I hope the babies I meet also feel that I truly love my work and am genuinely enjoying the time I spend with them and their family.
