Love is in the air – Vow Renewal Ceremony – Adelaide Wedding Photographer
This gorgeous couple, Karen and Dave, and their little fella Ethan, flew all the way to Adelaide to celebrate 10 years of marriage with a vow renewal ceremony with family and friends. The wonderful Sandy, one of our resident event photographers who specialises in weddings, recorded this day for them. So special. We wish you a safe return home.
Baptism – Adelaide Baptism Photography
The wonderful Tracy and Sandy would normally be covering this Baptism for me, but I felt a special pull to cover this particular one myself. I have photographed this family when their first born arrived, the actual birth of their second bubba as well as her newborn session so it seemed fitting to cover her baptism too. Such a gorgeous day and an absolute pleasure to spend more time with this family and meet the extended family too.
Connection – Adelaide Family Photography
It’s a funny thing that happens beyond the big mile stones like weddings, birthdays, parties and children. We sometimes forget to record the ‘now’. There is no full stop in life that makes us pause for a moment to realise that ‘now’ is a very good time to record. There is such power in the photographic record. We know, for a fact, we will not live forever and beyond our time, there will still be people around who want to remember us, reflect about us and put a face to the name or the story they hear.
I was so honoured to be chosen by this gorgeous family to record them. Adult sisters with their partners and their parents. A beautiful energy in this session, between each couple and within this family.
