I take great pleasure in sharing this wedding with you. The most beautiful couple through and through. You see, this wedding was a little different for me as I have photographed this growing family 3 times over the past 18 months and have come to really know them as friends. It was quite a privilege to capture their special day together. Thanks for the fun, the laughs and the special moments.
Congratulations Sarah and Rick – Adelaide Wedding Photographer
A beautiful day for a wedding and what a wonderful day it was. This gorgeous couple were such a sweet combination of relaxed nerves. Taking everything in their stride whilst quietly anticipating the day to come. Throw in a collection of fabulous friends, loving family, 2 little tackers of their own and a fantastic bridal party – and you will see, they had a wonderful time.

New Website Launch
Well, I can finally share this with you all – My new ‘Cocoon Studio’ logo. This has been a long time coming and I have been desperate to share it since May whilst the new website was being designed and built.
Lauren from Funky Chicken Design has created this gorgeous hand illustrated cocoon and incorporated it into a whole new look and a brand new website. Not only has she been wonderful to work with, her interpretation of my brief was perfect.
New Website
I would also like to welcome you to my new website
Full of so much more information and fresh new images. Head on over and take a squiz! Let me know what you think.
I am loving that this blog is now incorporated into the website and now has the feature to add your own comments and facebook ‘like’ right there!
A special thanks to Simon and the crew at Three AM Design for their amazing work in bolting this site together. Every request fulfilled, schedule kept and miracles performed. Thanks so much guys.
Newborn Journey – Behind the scenes
I am also ridiculously excited to show you all this little video piece – a behind the scenes look at the journey a little baby and their parents take when they come in and join me for a Newborn Session.
Pop on your music and check it out over on you tube and leave a comment if you wish. Can also be found throughout the website where you see this ‘Newborn Journey’ symbol.

Happy Mother’s Day – Adelaide Family Photographer
Happy Mothers Day folks – a special little shout out to all the Mothers’s around the world, the Mothers with children who are far from little babies anymore, the Mother’s who have lost their little ones far too soon, the Mother’s that were Mothers for only a pregnancy, the Mother’s with their children far and wide and all the Mother’s celebrating Mother’s day for the very first time.
Although today, my day was not unlike any other, starting with breakfast for my family, mountains of washing, doing dishes, fresh sheets on the beds etc etc…. I was thankful for every moment that I could spend with my little ones. Watch them be, give them the Mummy cuddles just when they need them and provide them with everything they need from me. I am thankful that today is not the only day I get to share this with them…. I am thankful for every day filled with every day things as they are just as special.
My heart was also warmed with the lovely thank you messages that came through from the 5 Mum’s that collected their print orders on Saturday and found a little personalised card I had made for them from their little bundles of love. You see, each and every one of the kiddies had a little chat with me during our time together and thought it would be a nice idea for their Mum’s. How thoughtful are they! (even though most of them were not even 1 yet ha ha)

I had the pleasure of witnessing the beautiful wedding of Melissa and Craig, meeting their wonderful family and recording the love and fun they all shared on the day.

There is a little story behind the picnic scene. Picnics have become a theme with these two at significant moments in their lives, like the first time they met was at a big picnic with friends and Craig’s proposal was at a picnic… along with several others so they felt it only fitting to have one on their wedding day too. Even the wedding cake topper was going to be a picnic scene.
